About Sarah

Food and cooking are my passions. For as long as I can remember I have known that my career would have to revolve around my love of cookery. I was trained at Silwood School of Cookery, and graduated with the Grand Diplome. Since then I’ve worked at award-winning restaurants, assisted some of Cape Town’s top food stylists, and have been a private chef for discerning international clients.

Currently I work as a freelance food stylist, product and recipe developer, prop-sourcer and chef.
My background as a chef has helped me develop these skills and my styling jobs (showcased under ‘work’) have appeared in recipe books, magazines, menus, advertising and packaging. I have worked with some of Cape Town’s top photographers. I am an avid baker and have recently written and styled my first cookbook
'For the love of baking’, which can be viewed under ‘book’. I have had great exposure to top brands, and continue to develop and style recipes on a daily basis. I love the creativity of my job.
