I spend my life cooking for clients, and rarely get the chance to cook for friends. After much demand, Gary and I decided to host a dinner for 16 and themed it ‘Christmas in June’. The dinner was a huge success and a chance for us to cook an elegant 3-course meal for friends. We had a budget of R100.00 per person, including decor. Everyone brought along a bottle of wine, a gift to the value of R30.00 and a tin of soup for charity.

Chocolate fondant, peanut butter parfait, banana purée, brûléed bananas

The dinner was such a success, we now plan to do it monthly and donate all proceeds to charity.
