I recently did a shoot on summer smoothies for Food & Home magazine, featuring 8 deliciously healthy summer smoothies!

Porridge Power

Serves 2


200g fresh blueberries
50g raw almonds
50g oats
2 banana’s
125ml yoghurt
5ml honey (optional)
½ cup crushed ice

Place all the ingredients into a blender, blend until smooth and pour into glasses. Serve immediately.

Tip: This is a breakfast smoothie and will keep you fill until lunch time.
